Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description The Project Engineer will manage technology or integration projects, successfully delivering solutions to meet project goals. This role may involve working directly with external equipment vendors, customers, or partners, and requires a solid understanding of design approaches and industry technologies utilized in fulfillment and distribution center designs. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee technology or integration projects to ensure successful delivery of solutions that meet project goals.
- Collaborate with external equipment vendors, customers, or partners.
- Utilize design approaches and industry technologies in fulfillment and distribution center designs.
- Directly manage and be responsible for cumulative automation project budgets ranging from .5 million to 50 million.
- Provide technical leadership for large-scale industrial engineering projects.
- Design and implement integrated automation solutions such as complex material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, and manufacturing lines.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in project management, project engineering, and vendor management.
- Expertise in engineering equipment installation and commissioning, and construction management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a project engineer, process engineer, project manager, manufacturing engineer, or related occupation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Project, and Outlook.
- Highly proficient CAD skills with capability to independently develop integrated automation layouts.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time to installation sites throughout North America.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ideal experience with throughput qualification.
- Demonstrated design and/or implementation experience with integrated automation solutions.
Work Environment This position requires the ability to travel up to 90% of the time to installation sites throughout the United States. Most employees travel on Monday mornings to the site and stay throughout the week, returning home on Friday afternoons. Occasionally, some may choose to stay over the weekend. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
