This position may be filled remotely, or in any of our locations. The Business Intake Supervisor leads the Business Intake Liaison team and works on projects that often deal with complex issues that require broad conceptual judgment and initiative, with minimal direction. Essential job functions include:

  • Responsible for employment aspects of the Business Intake team, including but not limited to hiring, performance evaluations, development, and continuous review of workloads.
  • Assigns, coordinates, and audits the work of the assigned Business Intake Liaisons.
  • Ensure all Business Intake procedures are being followed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Responsible for projects that require broad conceptual judgment, initiative, and ability to deal with complex conflict/intake issues.
  • Oversee Engagement Letter and Outside Counsel Guideline compliance/review and auditing to ensure client and firm compliance.
  • Assist Associate Director with the coordination of day-to-day activities of the Business Intake team including but not limited to workflow management, ensuring appropriate work share/collaboration amongst the team.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate data at the point of intake which will include but not be limited to review of various reports to administer deadlines and maintain data that may require continuous follow up.
  • Aid with building and maintaining Business Intake policies and procedures to ensure optimal accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other administrative areas within the Firm to ensure proper transparency and optimal client service for our internal and external clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience required, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience in a leadership role.
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented skills required.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.

The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:

  • State of California: $70,000 - $142,000
  • State of Colorado: $64,000 - $114,000
  • State of Illinois: $63,000 - $122,000
  • State of Massachusetts: $70,000 - $133,000
  • State of Maryland: $68,000 - $102,000
  • State of Minnesota: $70,000 - $115,000
  • Jersey City, NJ: $76,000 - $137,000
  • State of New York: $65,000 - $140,000
  • State of Vermont: $69,000 - $132,000
  • State of Washington: $68,000 - $128,000
  • Washington, D.C.: $90,000 - $132,000

The above salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
