Fullstack Software Engineer
Job Description
Posted on: May 24, 2026
About The Role A well-funded fintech startup (Series A) is looking for a highly driven Full Stack Engineer to help modernize a centuries-old industry. You'll join a small, ambitious team building impactful products, with the opportunity to own features from idea to launch and beyond. The company operates in the business banking and financial technology space, serving AI agents and global teams with modern payment, card, and treasury solutions. What You'll Do
- Build full-stack web features — front-end and back-end — from zero to production.
- Integrate third-party APIs and design robust state machines.
- Own projects from inception through launch and ongoing iteration.
- Hold yourself and teammates accountable to high standards of quality.
What We're Looking For Required
- 2–9 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, React, Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, and AWS — these are dealbreakers.
- Solid background building web applications end-to-end.
- Experience delivering software in fintech or other regulated industries.
- Strong CS fundamentals.
Nice To Have
- Side projects that demonstrate initiative and a drive to build.
- Educational background from a reputable program (top-tier university preferred).
- Experience at a fintech, crypto, or growth-stage startup rather than a large tech company.
Location & Work Arrangement Fully remote — US time zones only. Primary hub is New York, NY. Visa sponsorship is not available. Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation commensurate with experience. Details will be discussed during the interview process.
